Was it? He was never the best pocket passer(primarily because he's super short for a QB), but he was able to be super mobile and make plays on the move in Seattle. Once the legs started going, so did his effectiveness

Russ is trash and should never start for anyone again but I can't co-sign starting a rookie against the Chargers. Also think the Giants are missing an opportunity to start Jameis, who always works magic for 3-4 games before the wheels fall off.

Yea I agree. Start Jameis. Let Dart continue to sit and learn. Defense is now way to complicated. These young QBs need to go back to sitting for 1 year

I think the only current mobile QB who bails as much as prime Russ did is Kyler, makes sense with both struggling to see over the line. Even at his best the Seattle OLs were always accused of being poor because he just couldn't stand in there and get rid of it consistently. Definitely a recipe to age like milk.
