Not just here I peeped on Twitter now alot of people are sayin how did Brad Stevens get away wit makin this team...

But in real time Smart was DPOY, Brogdon was 6MOY and the trades and Jrue got absolutely sonned by Jimmy in a 1st round playoff upset L. KP was injury prone and not the most coveted asset either on a team coulda def offered a better package then and Timelord was younger and arguably more talented wit room to grow while bein injury prone too.

Alot of nikkas that was questionin some trade moves or sayin it wouldnt move the needle much are actin like they seen this generational heist in real time :duck:
The wild thing is the Celtics RECEIVED two 1sts in the Porzingis trade. These gms:snoop:

:wow:

9th player in Finals history wit a 25/10 game on 75%. Only player to do it wit 0 turnovers.

Marcus Smart wasn't capable of games like these on the grandest stage. That why they got that nikka. He was also the Bucks best player in a pivotal Finals game 5 wit series tied 2-2.

That Miami series a year ago messed up Jrue trade value a bit and this is where Boston found the opportunity to get him.

People thought Jrue was going on a washed up trajectory.

Boston was the favorites to win the title preseason lol never mind the East. Bucks was a distant 2nd to win East then Heat and Sixers way far behind those 2. I don't know why you bumped those post like it mean something yeah they gon "do work" upgradin Marcus Smart for Jrue Holiday great call:heh:

This might be the end for Jrue as an impactful* player. He's had a helluva career; without a doubt, one of the best guards of his generation.
Problem is that he'll be hard to trade. Guaranteed contract until 2027 and he's got player option for 27-28. Getting paid 30 mil per year as well. That's tough.

A jrue holiday for DeRozan works for both teams imo and Celtics would save money

Kings need a pg and want to get rid of DeRozan

Celtics get back a scorer who can score some points missing with tatum out

Jrue is about to be 35 and has averaged around 15+ games missed each season the last several years.

At this stage he's really more of a 2nd unit defender/stabilizing presence than a starter.

He'd be a nice acquisition for a young team that needs a vet to lead by example.
