I see Malone and Thibs as basically the same coach. Very good, not elite. Stubborn as hell. Capable of winning a title under optimal conditions. Malone got it done with Jokic operating at a historic level, a perfect roster to compliment Jokic, and a favorable path.

Outside that one season, what's Malone done that's all that impressive? Plus dude's a known a$$hole so there's always the question of how that impact the locker room and chemistry.

There's a chance it works out but that's a long way from being guaranteed.

but everyone's holding KAT responsible for that when hiding him can be done AND giving Brunson and management a pass for Brunson not playing it.

Now the easy answer would be starting Mitch but he ain't built to play over a full season.

Can it be fixed? Sure, but as long as Rose and Rosas have this 1-3-1 set up, there will be a design flaw in the starting lineup.
