Yeah, I didn't expect this to happen. Comcast would have been the best option out of the potential buyers, but don't think they had the money for it.
They’ll investigate and try to block it so they can help the Ellisons buy it.
If Biden was still POTUS or Kamala had won, I would think their DOJ would block it on Antitrust grounds. It is still the #1 streamer merging with #3.
State enforcers should speak up.
The richest family in the world (Larry and David Ellison) who bought Paramount just few months ago were going to buy all of WBD including the cable assets. All cash offer with the Saudi, Emirati, and Qatari sovereign wealth funds putting in parts of the bid as well.
