I wouldn't want Phil as a coach though. He's an ego manager, a get-them-over-the-hump type for those teams that are missing a piece to take them over the top. I would rather have Jerry Sloan, someone that will instill discipline into his players.

But that's years down the line. They basically have to suck bad before they can get good draft picks and need to get rid of those horrible contracts they dished out. He can attract free agents but the Knicks have No cap.
