The government actively works against your interests more where you live than where I live. The NYPD guns down and locks up more innocent black men than anywhere in Jacksonville, or in Hampton Roads area VA where I grew up.
And you get stopped and frisked, I don't...well not you, but black people.
And shut up with this c00n shyt bruh. Even if you are 1/16th Jamaican, you have white skin and you are a rich trust fund baby who inherited wealth, went to white private schools in white neighborhoods and talks like some surfer white dude. You have not lived anywhere near the average black experience in America. Culturally and experience-wise, you are basically a white dude.
Police enforcement is just one small aspect of life, Vic. That's the only ace up your sleeve? Very weak, and most of these cases happen everywhere and are stretched over decades. We don't get to read a lot about the possum and alligators getting loose in Jacksonville, up here in the big city.
At the end of the day I'm black, Vic and you trying to label me as anything other than black is just a way to avoid what this thread is about and probably what your life is about. I'm clearly a black man from facial features and skin tone. I've lived in Jamaica in the bush, I grew up in Queens through the 90's eating pizza, listening to hot 97 day and night when the best albums were coming out Wu, Nas, Big, Bad Boy,etc, taking the train, listening to hip hop albums, playing soccer with a Caribbean club. I'm just as black and hip hop as any other black person I've met if not more. Like every black man(well except you apparently) I've dealt with racism, I've dealt with institutionalized racism... what you're saying is not only unfair, its untrue.
Culturally and experience wise I carry myself as an 80 year old retired Jamaican executive. I'm a young guy but I've experienced and lived through a lot so far, a lot of good and a lot bad. Most of you guys aren't fit to carry my water, let alone will ever accomplish and experience a sixteenth of the things I have.
