Based on what I just looked up, he's described as a "centrist," not liberal.

Also, how is he anti-Trump? Just asking.

I think to be fair most Popes who are Liberal will be Centrist rather than full-on Progressive.

Most people on Twitter say he leans Progressive on many social issues.

Probably as Progressive as one can expect who may set and innovate some new grounds.
