So the Knicks traded Felton a couple yrs ago only to bring him back in a trade that doesn't make NYK better?

Lin's average as shyt, but Felton peaked a few yrs ago. SMH @ the Knicks front office

What the? Yo every move the Knicks make your ass criticizes .its like they cAnt win in your eyes. Everytime u post something about the Knicks it's negative. Your just a hater breh. Fall back dude....when your team is the hawks you have no right to say shyt about us

In what world is Lin one of the worst pgs in the league?

In what world does Felton having one of the worst seasons in his NBA career get the benefit of being better than Lin who is universally regarded as an unknown?

Lin even under Woodson was having a better than Felton last year Settle Down Knicks Fans, Jeremy Lin's Numbers May Be Down But He's Still Just As Great - Business Insider

are u guys trolling or what?
Dudes a mid tier point guard in the same breathe as Raymond Felton. He's not worth all the hassle especially since that position is so deep in the NBA. Marketability doesn't win games and he's not all star caliber so why all the fuss :yeshrug:

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
At the end of the day if Lin really wanted to come to new york he would not have signed that offer sheet. Remember Lebron and bosh took less money Lin was willing to sign with the highest bidder. Nobody deserves that much for so little of work put in. The knicks fought for his early birds rights and Lin catching feelings because they not moving fast enough for him? Fields and Lin were like a packaged deal and if one is gone you might as well say piece to the other. Now he not only will be stuck on a losing team and not have the luxury of playing in the biggest market he will get exposed even more.

as you and everyone else like to mention, he only played in a limited amount of games in his first season. He was an average point guard in what was his rookie season. You tryna tell me there's no way he gets better than average after that? i'm not saying he's gonna be an all star, but if you tryna win now and have to spend the money to get a potentially above-average point guard you do it. We ain't winning shyt resigning this team to an average pg who probably already hit his peak.

The same above average pg that couldn't dribble past halfcourt against Mario Chalmers? :leon:

Your fascination for scrubs is uncanny Jmurder.

We gonna have to disagree I just don't think he's that good or gonna be. There's guys like George Hill, Bayless, and Dragic who are just as good as him but he's valued over them because of his marketability. He's not even a Top 20 point guard yet he's gonna see that kinda money.

To me his run this season was like Flip Murray in 2003 when Allen was out.

U don't need an economics major to go where the most money is. It's basic arithmetic. I don't blame Lin for taking the money but he can't be shocked the Knicks didn't match. He's not worth 14 million any season. He's both worth going over the luxury tax threshold and he's not the final piece to a championship team. Houston basically outbid themselves. I think Lin is overrated and now that he's got paid and a little bit of fame the odds of him staying stagnant is high. Plus his contract sets a standard because every scrub starter making less is going to try to out play him every night to prove the deserve more or just as much.

Maybe Felton never got over being traded and maybe this will light a new fire under him. Lin may or may not evolve but he still not worth that contract at this point.

why would felton get in shape for that inept coach in portland in a shortened season.

same as melo,...i see both getting in shape come this next season.

knicks are a little scary like a mav's east team.
