An independent will run on the following:
1. A federal jobs program to get people back to work. People will be constructing and staffing nuclear power plants, schools, public transit including high speed rail, wind farms, solar panel manufacturing plants, hydroelectric dams, chip manufacturing plants, and climate change mitigation projects(sea walls, climate renovations, forestry.
2. Subsidies for state universities and colleges which will effectively make post secondary education free or cheap.
3. Cutting off fossil fuel and big tech subsidies since all they do is give their CEOs insane wages and stock options. Enough tax money has gone to billionaires. If their businesses fail, it's their fault and their fault alone.
4. Massive fines on health insurance companies. They are getting away with murder and they enabled the opiate crisis. They will be punished severely and their ill gotten gains will be used to fund ....
5. A public Healthcare option.
6. Mandatory 5 month maternity leave. The states can add an additional 4 or more with their own funds.
7. A massive investment in subsidized rental housing and a 30k first time home buyer's credit for any family that does not own a home.
8. A data protection act that forces social media to give you a cut of the money they made using your data.
9. Free or heavily subsidized day care.
10. Construction of humane mental health facilities to get drug addicts, mentally disabled, and psychotic individuals off the streets.
11. Increased taxes on anyone with an annual income of over 10million. If 10 million every year isn't enough money for you to feel financially secure you need to either see a psychiatrist for your mental illness or kill yourself.
The amount of misery this administration has caused and will double and triple down on over the next 4 years will get people motivated to vote for the person who promises the above and refuses to budge.

"Job creators will mov--" where? To asia where they have to compete with Chinese goods? Or to Europe where regulations are even more strict?

No more excuses. The first politician who shows up to do serious work and is willing to do whatever to give the public some relief will get the kind of love Claudia sheinbaum got. A woman, and a Jewish one at that winning a massive majority in a catholic country with blatant patriarchy isn't a coincidence. She appealed to people's material needs and didn't back down. The first politician to show up on that type of time will win. The conditions will be set up for that to happen by the cruel and evil behavior of this current administration.
