If you listen to national media people, this shyt looks as if it could backfire on him if the other owners are paying attention. They've all been trashing this fakkit. Funny that the person who wrote this up is a lawyer here in STL too. So the lawyer is ok living in this city he trashed, and Kroenke has businesses all around the area, but it's suddenly a terrible place for business when he needs to move the team. And people wonder why the attendance dropped since he's been the owner (with the fact that the Rams have sucked being the number one reason). This application to move has so many holes and misleading information in it it's ridiculous. Citing declining population, which is true, but just for the city of STL (they just conveniently omitted the rest of the metro area). Then citing how the team has increased it's winning % by 62% since he's been owner yet the fans still don't sell it out every week, but omitting the fact that this means the Rams went from averaging 2 wins per season to averaging 6 wins. Like does he really think people are this dumb?

They're DRASTICALLY underrating the love St. Louis has for the Rams. I was out and about yesterday and saw more than a few people wearing Rams jackets. I know Kroenke isn't stupid and doesn't expect fans to show up in droves to see a losing team. Hell, a perennial loser ... if it was just a few bad seasons they'd still be there but the product hasn't warranted it.

His entire report has so many holes like you said, I hope the other owners shut his ass down.

The thing is Rams likely get their way because of their owner's clout.

Chargers and Raiders are in the same division so that can cause conflict.
I believe if the Raiders and Chargers share a stadium, one of them would have to switch to the NFC. I remember some time ago the Raiders owner saying they would be willing to switch to the NFC West.

If Chargers and Raiders share stadium, one would likely move to NFC

Per the same league source who told PFT in October that the NFL intends to return to L.A. within 12-24 months, a shared stadium by the Chargers and Raiders means that one of the teams likely would move to the NFC.

The current thinking is that the Raiders would be the most likely of the two to leave for the NFC West. The question then becomes which of the NFC West teams would move to the AFC West.

The Seahawks belonged to the AFC West from 1977 through 2001, but the early rumor/expectation is that the Rams or Cardinals would change conferences, with the Seahawks and 49ers staying put.

I see people walking around with Rams stuff all the time. I know plenty of my black folk who don't mess with the Cardinals all that much but watch every Rams game. We have not had a winning season since 2004.......2004! I just saw an empty 49er stadium for a team that has been bad for one season, yet he wonders why the Rams struggle to sell out every week for a decade-long bad team? We sold out the dome every single game from 1995-2006, I wonder what happened after 2006 that led to there being a few non-sellouts every season? Hmm...

Yeah, ain't no most likely about it. Jacksonville's owner had originally bought the Rams and stated he had no intention to move. Kroenke was the minority owner and had a clause to have the right of first refusal and to match any offer for the team if he so chooses. As soon as he bought the team, many people already knew what he was doing.

i don't get you out of state raider fans so giddy about the raiders moving to LA...does it make you feel better about being a traitor to your local teams by stanning a team based in LA? fukking weirdos :scust:

You raise a good issue. Me, personally Im from Toronto so we don't have a NFL team and Ive been a Raider fan for years and years

Oakland or LA makes no difference except Im in a position to visit LA a lot more than Oakland

the owners don't want the raiders in L.A. cause of the black and brown and our history of fighting in the stands in the past and basically would scare white people away..

that's why they probably want the lily white chargers and the rams to be here.. fukk these owners... that stadium better be only seat 40,000 then with the chargers/rams cause L.A. is raider country

Sorry St Louis Rams brehs no way NFL Owners are turning this down
Rams’ L.A. proposal includes offer to host Pro Bowl, Combine
Posted by Darin Gantt on January 6, 2016, 8:08 AM EST

The Rams don’t want to only take 10 games a year to Los Angeles.

They want the Pro Bowl and the Combine too.

As part of the relocation bidobtained by the Los Angeles Times, the Rams did more than just lay out a proposal for moving. They made clear that they envision Stan Kroenke’s Inglewood stadium as a West Coast epicenter for the league.

Since the stadium plan also includes a retail and entertainment areas which include a performance venue and studio space they’re offering the league, they clearly have big plans.

“The flexibility of the district allows for the NFL to develop office and studio space for NFL Network, NFL Media and NFL Digital, allowing them dynamic new space to grow just three miles from their current Culver City location,” the proposal states. “The performance venue can serve as a home for the NFL Draft, NFL Honors and other NFL-themed events such as NFL Films premieres. The roof over the stadium would allow the NFL to move events such as the Pro Bowl, NFL Combine and other annual events to the NFL campus as well.”

The application also detailed just how big the stadium will be, and naturally it will be the biggest in the league.

It would include 70,240 fixed seats, with standing-room areas for another 30,000. It also includes 274 suites, 16,300 premium seats and 12,675 dedicated parking space, which they say eclipses the Carson proposal on each count.

Of course, with long-standing opposition to Stan Kroenke’s plan, the reality is he might have to money-whip his colleagues into going along. And with the offer of office and studio space for the league’s own network, it’s clear he’s trying to turn it into an offer they can’t refuse.

I'm not giddy but I'm a fan no matter where they move. They can put them in fukking Nebraska and I'd still route for them. Personally, @Techniec made a good point it would be easier to fly or travel to LA than Oakland. I mean if they stay in Oakland I'm fine with it like I said, but if they go to LA it's convenient and I'm not gone complain.

don't know where you're from, but flying to SF is the same as flying to LA, easier airport as well...hop a $49 45-min flight to LA after the game if you just need to be in LA. but i'm not buying the "more convenient" if folks really aint flying to games in the first place and it's pretty much the same distance from a place like toronto
