don't know where you're from, but flying to SF is the same as flying to LA, easier airport as well...hop a $49 45-min flight to LA after the game if you just need to be in LA. but i'm not buying the "more convenient" if folks really aint flying to games in the first place and it's pretty much the same distance from a place like toronto

I got more family in southern cali than the bay

:manny:

But ultimately it's not really a big deal

I'm just kind of shocked that none of the owners are bringing up the fact that Kroenke technically owns a professional hockey, basketball, soccer team along with the Rams as well as Man United on the other side of the pond which is a clear violation of NFL regulation.

The ownership in the other franchises is dressed up to be owned by one of his many holding companies but you would think that he'd be forced into selling the Rams outright. I know there was an investment group prior to this season who was interested in potentially purchasing them to prevent them from leaving the city.

I'm a Bucs fan myself so I could give 2 f*cks about them but it hurts the city and his outright slander really hurts.

I don't think there is a specific date. Most likely though it'll be next week.

Jan 13-14

As of today. it looks like its going to the Rams and my Bolts:mjcry:

Strange thing is...our Mayor down here is still going to pursue building a new stadium down here. We want to keep the Chargers, but if they leave, we don't want to lose the NFL in this city.

Here's where things get strange. If / when the Chargers leave....the city will pursue the Jags....and dare I say it.....the Raiders.

Sad and strange shyt going on.

I don't think any of the teams should leave. L.A. doesn't need the NFL.

I can never see the Raiders in SD. The Jags maybe...but the Jacksonville owner is committed to staying in Jacksonville.

The Lou would get the Jags before anyone else, if their ownership wasn't already committed to staying in J-Ville. It was either them or the Panthers we were slated to get when the Cardinals left for Arizona.

THE Hell...So the Raiders point blank want out of Oakland flat out...

Davis has said he wants to stay. But it all comes down to dollars and who will fund the stadium project. The NFL and Owners believe that they (Davis and Spanos)cant compete (financially) and keep up with other teams if they don't have a state of the art stadium. IMO, the Raiders and Chargers are in the same financial boat, which is why they were going to partner up with the Carson site.

I'm a life long raiders fan, but this might be a cause for me to jump ship

Oddly enough...if the Chargers did go to LA, and the Raiders came to SD. Most Charger fans will support the Raiders and root for them to beat the living shyt out of the LA Chargers (we all have deep hatred for the ownership).

He already hopped through the loophole of putting those teams in a trust "ran" by his son and wife.
