Why tho? The New Jersey teams showed you this can work.
It makes no sense. They both play in the same division. I don't think two teams from the same division should be in the same city, let alone the same stadium.

Chargers don't belong in L.A. The Chargers franchise will lose value once they move there.

Apparently their could be division realignment, if it is the raiders and Chargers.

This is from last February

Per the same league source who told PFT in October that the NFL intends to return to L.A. within 12-24 months, a shared stadium by the Chargers and Raiders means that one of the teams likely would move to the NFC.

After the Mike Brown,/Ferguson debacle, I'm hoping the city of St Louis loses anything that makes them relevant nationally.
You sound ignorant. Without people in St. Louis, Mike Brown would have just been another black unarmed teen killed by police, just like in every other city in America where black peoples live. Without St. Louis, there wouldn't be a whole national movement against police brutality and a whole new social justice movement for black people. St. Louis folks weren't gonna stand for this shyt like weak ass people in other cities that looked the other way or were silent in the past when a black kid was killed. Now there's a story in cities all over the country to raise further awareness of this issue. Got cops having to now wear body cameras and all that, it's because we here in STL brought awareness to make them adjust their shyt. Get you facts straight next time. STL should be praised by black people for how we brought change and awareness internationally.

Well that makes it a terrible idea. Raiders-Chargers have been a division rivalry going back 55 years. Both are original AFL teams and neither belong in the NFC.

If anyone moves it should be the Rams since they were already there.

Problem is they had 2 teams and they both moved... The Rams and raiders... I don't understand why both would want to go back when they moved not that long ago and I'm assuming had there reasons...

LA is good for 1 team just because they can handle 2 doesn't mean they should have 2 shyt I think the clippers should of moved to Seattle and became the sonics I don't know shyt
they moved because they couldnt get a stadium. thats politics, the politics have changed, this time there is going to be a stadium. keep in mind, all 3 of these teams are trying to leave their current market for a stadium.

if you can get a New stadium in a massive market that can support 2 teams, why not?

it's not about the money like others are saying, mark don't even wanna leave. they literally have the most :flabbynsick: stadium in the league. only team who still plays on a baseball field and they got shyt like this happening:

Santa Clara is 40 minutes from SF...it sucks not being in the city, but it's clearly still the bay. it's no different than the cowboys being in Arlington, slurs being in landover, giants/jets being in jersey...

It's 40 minutes when you drive at 1am. It's 50 miles of terrible traffic away during regular hours. Last time I did the drive for a game it took 2 hours and it would've taken even longer if we didn't have parking passes for the lot next to the stadium. Getting to that stadium is a fukking chore. Whomever's going to the Super Bowl is gonna be miserable. They really got people convinced that commute is gonna be easy from SF.

Being here in STL and listening to the sports radio all the time, I'll give some more on this for those of you who haven't followed this as much:

Basically, the Carson (Chargers/Raiders) project appears to be in the lead for a few reasons. First, SD and Oakland have the worst stadiums in the league and neither city has presented a new stadium option that would convince the owners they should stay. Second, the Carson project hired Bob Iger who is the CEO of Disney. Many look at him as the top entertainment/business dude in LA and is perfect to brand and market the new LA team(s) to the area. Since he's with Disney, obviously he's well connected with the NFL through dealings with ESPN. The other issue could be the Inglewood stadium's problem being close to LAX and issues with planes possibly losing signals when close to landing or some shyt. The FAA has raised that issue.

That fakkit Kroenke's best case is that he has the most money. He doesn't even need his wife's money to still have a lot of money. His biggest backers are Snyder with Washington and Jerry Jones (obviously they just care about the money aspect). His biggest problem is that STL just proposed a second stadium in 20 years damn near right next to the dome. A few of the owners on the LA committee have said they likely would not want to approve a team moving when the city has a viable option with a new stadium.

Many think at most, Kroenke doesn't have the votes to move. If Stan knows this, and is hell bent on moving, he is probably trying to rally 9 other owners to not approve the Carson project so that he can sit in STL for another year before figuring out another move.

If the NFL actually believes there's Chargers fans in LA :heh:

Should be obvious now the NFL doesn't give a shyt about team fans. This is about the advertising rates in LA. They want those TV dollars from one of the biggest advertising markets in the country. What I don't get is how they've got the balls to charge a team for moving to a city that they figure will make them more money. And, didn't Al Davis sue because he got charged $1 million for moving to LA's market then when he left they didn't give him his money back?

Brehs.

Its not going to be 3 teams going to LA. These are the options that will get voted on:
-Rams (individually at Hollywood Park/Inglewood location)
-Rams & Chargers or Raiders (sharing Hollywood Park/Inglewood ala Jets/Giants)
-Chargers & Raiders (sharing the carson location)

The Chargers & Raiders owner (Spanos & Davis) don't have the pockets to move to LA by themselves. Only Kroenke and the Rams do. The Raiders are just in this for the ride, and willing to go wherever is voted (stay, carson, Inglewood).

It will interesting to see what the owners vote. Selfishly, it should just be the Rams by themselves. They already have a large LA fanbase, plus there is "only" 1 temporary location that has accepted housing a NFL team until the stadium is built (LA Coliseum). It would be wise for the NFL to try out 1 team first, and see how that goes.

But money talks. And the NFL loves the 2 teams to LA idea.
