Looking at his track record, he did help a lot of role players overachieve. But I hated watching the Hawks. That team made me fall asleep every time I watched them.

Twice too, with an arguably better roster. Firing Casey to hire Bud would be a lateral move imo, he hasnt figured out the Bron dilema his damn self. I like Bud, he's a damn good coach, but the results are what they are Start fresh with some new blood.....Stackhouse or Nick Nurse would be good for yall

He still got them to the g league finals this year with a pretty terrible collection of talent. Helped transform a lot of guys there too. Kennedy Meeks went from a fat softie to a legit big man who will probably be on an NBA roster next year. Took a couple CIS kids in Best and Keane and turned em into legit pros

He's the perfect coach for a young team

Bench Mob plus OG and whatever young scraps we can get for the vets with Stack coaching is my dream scenario for next year

Stack is an excellent developmental coach. He got 90% of his guys from last year jobs in the Euroleague/Eurocup this year, when some of them like struggled to stick overseas before.

I think they stuck him with a crappy group this year to see how he'd do compared to last year, and he made it to the finals. He's done a great job developing guys, he made some of the G-League guys like Best and Fuquan Edwin stand out more than main roster guys like Miller, Richardson and McKinnie.
