Don't agree with it but when you lose to the same guy all the team eventually you got to go :manny:

Pop, Kerr, D Antoni, and Stevens are probably the only unfireable coaches in the league
No such thing as unfireable coach
Pop is the closest to that but brad can get that Jerry Sloan treatment too if he never gets them over he jump and D’Antoni has been fired twice

I can see d'antoni being eventually let go if they don't win a championship within 2 years. CP3 isn't getting any younger and it's gonna be hard to replace those parts. Any sign of struggle and blame will be shifted to him for not adapting his system based on the personnel (read: saving face by throwing him under the bus.)

The way Stevens roster is set up he has a minimum 4 to 5 year grace period before his seat gets warmer for losing. It's more on Ainge than anyone to put together a contender.

raptor fans got the most ungrateful fan base in basketball
the damn guy took your shytty franchise and made it respectful
5 straight playoff births, division titles, eastern conference finals, 1 seeds and he can't even get a thank you:scust:

what the fukk were you guys doing before that?:hhh:

Raptor fans forget they traded rudy gay for TANK purposes, and we gonna lose out and try and get wiggins in the draft.

Casey overachieved with the tank roster and massai decided to keep the ball rollin.

ya'll should build him a statue, instead yall campaigned for his firing and make him the scapegoat instead of blaming your fake all stars and the gm who keeps bringing back the same core every year:scust:

But your fanbase leader on here is @FireDwaneCasey so i'm not even surprised by this:hhh:

Masai is the WOAT. When he resigned Kyle Lowry I knew the raptors where not going anywhere. Dude is just to little. He played well this post season but he's had too many let downs in the past. Masai would have kept Steph and Monta and traded Klay. Raptors have got to get bigger at the 1 guard spot. Kyle Lowry is 5'11 and becomes a 3 point shooter when shyt gets tight. Demar ain't the answer either.

Jamal Murray n Khris Middleton would be better than Kyle Lowry and Demar

Ehh... they won 59 games this year. Blowing it up would probably be the best option long term, but realistically they're not going to do that. Maybe they do a couple small tweaks to the roster and try it again with the new coach and hope for the best(i.e. somebody gets hurt)
If they blow it up theirs no guarantee they stay at the same level they’ve been over the past few years.

Pop is never getting fired. He a legend in SA. He a legend period.

Kerr is never going to get fired, but only because he will quit as soon as the warriors are not title contenders every year. He is not a stay and build it from the ground up coach. He is more of a phil jackson type I come in and just put the icing on the cake.

Stevens won't take any of the heat for the celtics not winning. Danny will. Everyone will just second guess all his moves.

D'Antoni is another guy who will quit if the Rockets teams get to bad before he gets fired. Morey is an idiot but even he is smart enough to realize he is not going to find a better coach for the offense he wants to run, and if he re ups paul and capella they are going to be running that offense for a LONG time.

The 6
This was a necessary move. Casey did a lot for this franchise but I felt like his time was up last year. The Cavs series this year just confirmed that.

Expect changes to the roster as well.

Denver needs a point guard. They might take Lowry for Chandler/Faried/Lyles and a draft pick. Those guys are all free agents after next season.

Memphis could be interested in DeRozan for their lotto pick if they aren't going to trade Gasol. Probably have to eat the Parsons contract in that deal but the pick will be high enough to justify it.

I'd try and pitch Ibaka to the Blazers for Harkless, Leonard and a pick as well.

Let Stackhouse run that team and you're probably still in the playoffs.

yall wasnt even making the playoffs to get swept until he showed up:mjlol:

ungrateful a$$holes:hhh:

Casey has been the coach since 2011-2012...We didnt make the playoffs the first couple years he was here with DeRozan.

He was starting Jose Calderon over Kyle Lowry when we acquired him,it was mandated to him that he start Lowry cuz Calderon wasnt going to be re-signed...Again if you dont know the history of this team you should probably just keep ur mouth shut as to not look stupid....

To give Casey credit for playoff appearances and seasons he was forced into by management proves yet again proves you hate the Raptors and will argue CON in every argument even tho you dont have a clue what the fukk ur talking about....Now ur Pro Casey because he got axed...

Fukkn dweeb.

Casey was bad. Toronto was only successful this year because of hard work, not because of good coaching.

I understand he didn't have the greatest pieces, but seeing Kyle Lowry trying to inbound over Lebron, I knew it had to be done.

They were successful because he was forced to run a system by Masai Ujiri lol....
