based on indiana taking them to seven and boston killing em today
raptors won 59 games top 5 in offense and defense in teh reg season
yet made cavs look like world beaters

Have you critically compared the rosters between the 3.... Casey could coach and be wildly successful doing the regular season handing east team Ls... but when it’s time for players to man up, he gets blamed for doing the same shyt that led them to their best season ever and him coach of the year... because most of his players laid an egg?

Organizations matter. Pedigree matters.. Boston has that, Toronto doesn’t

Raptors had the depth to eliminate the Cavaliers from the playoffs. They terribly underperformed below their expectations. The coach and the stars of the team--Lowry and Derozan--shrunk and fell apart in the semifinals. Toronto did the right thing to move forward without Casey. Next move they did to make is to either move Lowry or Derozan out of Toronto for a reliable scorer like Kwahi Leonard.

Some teams need to understand that at their very best, they can only be 2nd best. At least they had consistency under Casey, now what?

So why move the coach when you’re saying the players are too blame?

I think for the past 4 years the other 28 teams have come to realize this.

What does all this matter? God forbid if Toronto actually reached the finals they would have got waxed by 30 pts each game. Just like Cleveland will this year

what led te raptors to their best season ever was the bench, strong d, moving the ball and not relying to much on derozan and lowry in the playoffs it was back to derozan isoing, turnovers, weak d, no perimter d, rotations not used properyl

Did you not read my post? I said Derozan and Lowry shrunk. I blamed both the players and the coach.

I don't even blame Lowry and Derozan. When you have a coaching staff that can't run a play to get you open, what can you do?

Time reveals all... y’all can up this thread when the Raptors win the championship in 2019
