Again? He lost the popular vote by over 3 million people the first time. The dude won the electoral college with the help of Russian cyber warfare targeting African American voters.
Since that election:
1. Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have voted out their Republican Governors and elected Democratic Governors;
2. The House of Representatives have swung decisively towards the Democrats and it is beginning to look like the Democrats are going to pick up some seats in the upcoming Senate elections;
3. Several Republican stronghold States (Kentucky, Louisiana and Kansas) elected Democratic Governors over Trump backed Republican candidates;
4. He was investigated by a Special Counsel and many of Trump fiend friends have been convicted of felony crimes;
5. Trump's had one of his personal attorney's incarcerated and his current personal attorney is on his way to being indicted;
6. He has sided with, befriended and defended White Supremacists; and
7. Oh yeah btw he is now in the process of being impeached for public fugging corruption.
So I seriously doubt that his stupid ass is going to be elected in 2020. It goes without saying that Trump is going to be indicted for any number of fugging things upon his exit from public office by the AG of the incoming Democratic President and the State of New York AG. That is why that fat fugg is having panic attacks.
Quit going by clickbait headlines from journalists, who want to attempt to remain credible, after getting egg on their face.
Trump won six and a half (6½) states, not three (3).
Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and Maine were all blue in 2012. He snatched 102 EVs (electoral votes) from the Dems.
The above states were also blue in 2008.
Iowa - Obama had a +91,927 votes over Romney. Trump had a +147,314 votes over Clinton. (-1.6% decrease in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 239,241 votes in Trump's favor.
Wisconsin - Obama had a +213,019 votes over Romney. Trump had a +22,748 votes over Clinton. (-3.01% decrease in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 235,767 votes in Trump's favor.
Michigan - Obama had a +449,313 votes over Romney. Trump had a +10,704 votes over Clinton. (+.3% increase in voter turnout from 2012).
That's a swing of 460,017 votes in Trump's favor.
Ohio - Obama had a +166,272 votes over Romney. Trump had a +446,841 votes over Clinton. (+1.46% increase in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 613,113 votes in Trump's favor.
Pennsylvania - Obama had a +309,840 votes over Romney. Trump had a +44,332 votes over Clinton. (+2.48% increase in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 354,172 votes in Trump's favor.
Florida - Obama had a +74,309 votes over Romney. Trump had a +112,911 votes over Clinton. (+2.4% increase in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 187,220 votes in Trump's favor.
Maine (1 EV) - Obama had a +109,030 votes over Romney. Trump had a -22142 votes under Clinton. (+3.5% increase in voter turnout from 2012)
That's a swing of 86,888 votes in Trump's favor. Garry Johnson probably snatched about 38K from the vote totals which the majority of would have gone to Trump.
That's 2,176,418 votes that Trump siphoned off from Dems in those states alone. Clinton should have had a popular vote count over 5 million votes.
shyt like this is what got him elected in the first place. Bullshyt, put out by journalists, that deal with only the tip of the iceberg, instead of what's below the water, will ensure him another victory in 2020 if this keeps up.
=====
1. They (Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) all still have bicameral legislatures controlled by Republicans.
2. Except for Bush in his first term, the new President lost the House in mid-term elections (Clinton, Obama, Trump).
3. It's the same for these states (Kentucky, Louisiana and Kansas) bicameral legislatures controlled by Republicans.
6. So what if he gets impeached. The $64K question that everyone wants to ignore. Are there enough votes in the Senate for a conviction(s). You need 67 Senators to vote guilty in order for the Orange One to be removed from office. That means you need 20 Republicans to break ranks and to vote guilty for any charge without any Democrats and the two Independents voting not guilty.
