You do realize how insulting that is to black people right? You're saying that we're the reason he won when in reality he won because of white men, white women, & latinos. Basically he won because of everyone non black and they've been trying to put the blame on us since he won. It wasn't Russian interference. It was CrossCheck, Voter ID and voter caging that killed black turnout. This shyt, in some form, has been going on since 2010. If there is anyone to blame for voter apathy, it's white Democrats.
It's no different from black people getting blamed for California's Prop 8 passing back in '08. It was only months later when the press had to admit that exit polling for black folks was wrong, exaggerated by almost 20 points and similar to voting patterns found in other races.

I distinctly remember the 2016 election thread on BGOL. Cats in those Rust Belt states were freaking the fukk out that morning. They all made jokes about the parking lots at the polling states being filled with Chrysler 300s and Escalades in 2008. On Election Day 2016, they said those same parking lots were filled with Ford F-150s and Chevy Silverados.
There was even a poster over there who had a $500 bet with a white coworker. I pleaded with him to get out of the bet when his coworker offered him an out. He had to come off that skrilla the day after. Dr. Frances Cress-Welsing was one of the first people who said that Trump was going to be the next President when she made this prediction over a month before she passed.

As much as I hate Trump and want him to be impeached, unfortunately I have a bad feeling he's either going to since his popularity numbers are going into the trash slowly and re-election chances are slowly diminishing or pull some bullshyt so that he doesn't leave the white house ie start a war with Iran or declare martial law.

Trump's lawyers have already claimed in court that the president is immune from all criminal proceedings, and the Justice Department has already refused to lay charges against him due to the sole fact that he is president even when a special counsel was formed to investigate. They have all said that the only Constitutional process for holding a president account is impeachment and Senate trial. Thus the House HAS to pursue this route, if for nothing than to maintain some semblance of a democracy rather than a dictatorship where the president can declare himself completely apart from the rule of law.
