Women love goin younger if they in that age range, especially if they are recently divorced or just lookin for some fun. Mind you most of my experience was from awhile back.. but now im hearing these women are getting mommy makeovers tryna compete with the youngins still lol.. Well real talk, if you actually plan to do right by the woman, technically there’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with this and is every girl’s dream when she falls in love
The problem is everyone knows women from previous generations who walked into their marriages young and innocent and ready to follow who got:
1- physically or emotionally abused (kids too) with no real way to leave because she has no money/career
2- chucked to the side for another woman (usually younger) and now maybe she’s older and can’t find a new husband
3- husband never discarded her, but he sure did have to “work late” or travel for work a whole lot, or other women called the house or snickered when they’d see her
And yes ok, we can talk about women sleeping with the milk man, etc.
Point is when a woman gets married and is fully dependent on her hubby and hasn’t had much exposure to the world, in a perfect world they’d just live life, go through the growing pains and ups and downs and push through to the other side. A lot of ppl don’t want to acknowledge that for a lot of women, at some point 1 or more of those things above were the “bumps” they had to endure, and those generally aren’t things a woman can put a man through.
A man’s ultimate trump card is the fact that he can just leave you and create a new family. Now if you’re a rotten broad hey- yea, he probably should just roll out AND financially provide for the kids.
But what if he decides he wants to dabble in some other women for a while? Or he’s bored with you? You gotta sit there with egg on your face if you want that marriage to last forever.

There are a lot of older women who were silent and upset about their situations so they OVER CORRECTED when speaking to the next generations. The reason so many girls ran to get an education and their own money was because of stories of the women in their families who were stuck in bad situations.
Younger generations really have to have an open dialogue with each other and let go of some of the lessons and actions of the elders because they really fukked up with a lot of us.

Well this is how my family is. They’re old school so if someone gets “in trouble” the family gathers round and supports them, but that also serves as a cautionary tale. They made it clear what to steer away from so that I don’t have to be a cautionary tale lolIm speaking moreso to impregnating these young chicks as a means of entrapment. To gain a stronger sense of loyalty,so she may want to make the family work. In these older man/younger chick dynamics it seems to be a power play,manipulation tool, more than it is genuine. If yall are just in love and you happen to get her pregnant thats different. But getting a young chick pregnant before she can outgrow you,is a little more sinister. Also I have to disagree on blaming the elders. I never got the sense that older women were bitter about their situations. Either they took it on the chin,or like you said they suffered in SILENCE. I believe younger women simply learned from watching each other.Their friends leave they man or get left? You can go right down to the welfare office and get assistance. And you can also weaponize child support ,if you want a little revenge in certain circumstances.
In this modern era,I truly dont believe any women are worried about not being taken care of if they leave their man. We are in a polygamous relationship with man/woman/government assistance(The European).
Creating a system where the women arent dependent on men,or even their family is bad for the nuclear family. I bet family members would be more careful with the advice they hand out, if they had to take care of their sister and her kids. I bet they would take a more active role on who she deals with in the first place,if it was a chance she would have to stay at bros house if it didnt work out.
