A person....who the mother.....is dating....and has around her child :gucci:

How is this not adding up to some of you in this thread :picard:

I'm legitimately confused this time
Not even close to joking around
I'm saying. She was with a nikka who felt the need to be strapped to exchange a child and lacked the emotional maturity to not murder someone because of what I'm going to assume was some trash talk between the two.

Until the story gets clarification, all we got is a drop off exchange at a police station, where one person present ended up killing someone else..... At a police station.

Lord knows I'm not a he-man woman hater but flip the situation and people would be castigating a man for bringing someone to a custody exchange and it ends up with his baby mother dead.

The company you keep reflects on you, period.

Unless the guy was being a threat to them, she's partially culpable.
Not wholly or solely or even mostly, but she's gonna have to live with that weight.

33-YEAR-OLD FATHER KILLED IN FRONT OF DAUGHTER DURING CUSTODY EXCHANGE

A man was shot and killed over the weekend in a parking lot at a police station after he dropped his daughter off during a custody exchange.

According to WTVR, 33-year-old father Stuart D. Jeffries was gunned down by his ex-wife’s new boyfriend last week at a Virginia police station. Jeffries, who had gone to drop off his eight-year-old daughter, was killed in front of her in the parking lot during the custody exchange.

The Chesterfield Police Department confirmed that Jeffries was shot Sunday evening in the parking lot of the Appomattox Police Station at 2920 W. Hundred Road. The incident took place at approximately 6:30 p.m. last week on Jan. 16. Jeffries was dropping his daughter off after spending the weekend with her.

The killer, identified as 44-year-old Corey D. Goodson Sr. Goodson, was arrested at the scene. He’s charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

“Two parties met to complete a child custody exchange in the parking lot at Appomattox Police Station,” it was confirmed by a Chesterfield Police spokesperson in an email.

At the time of the exchange, an on-duty officer was working in his patrol vehicle in the station parking lot; the officer was facing away from where the custody exchange was occurring.”

One man was murdered because another man decided to murder him. What conditions did the mother create that makes her responsible in your mind?
Bringing another man to a custody exchange is red flag number 1 through 100

100-1000 for bringing him when he got the hammer on him

this completely ignores the fact the drop-off point was a police station in this case which would ostensibly be two layers of protection for her if the ex was a threat. I agree that custody exchanges can be arranged in many different ways, including arrangements where parents don't have to see each other but that's not what these two parents worked out for whatever reasons.

IDK. IMO if just having the drop-off point at the police station was not enough safety the next step would be to have an officer present at the exchange, not invite the boyfriend with a loaded weapon. It sounds more likely that she brought him as an intimidation factor. She probably didn't think it would escalate to the degree that it did.

The mother picked a man that was crazy enough to kill her childs actual father at a police station to be around her child. Does she hold any blame for her own actions and choices?
