uploading his death has nothing to do with him dying. He died because he made a bad decision and succumbed to peer pressure.

all I’m saying is I’m not going to try and deflect blame and somehow say the friends are the reason he died.

They contributed towards his demise. This is part of the problem in society, people pushing poison and acting as though their hands are clear because people are responsible for their own actions.

There is a point where people need to display a conscience. They were supposed to be his friends, yet they gassed him up to try something they thought he couldn't achieve.

What did they think the consequence would be if he failed?

I hope the family disowns his older brother.

i've seen people that weigh 300+ lbs tread water....your weight is irrelevant in water compared to land....treading water is one of the first things kids learn when learning how to swim....if dude in the vid knew how not to panic and tread he wouldn't be dead....

nope. Directly correlated. They are bored with poor outlooks on life. Looking for dangerous activities for excitement and adrenaline rush. If they had free boxing gyms, swimming lessons, good paying entry level jobs I dont think they’d be engaging in this idiotic behavior.

Exactly. Not sure what vid brehs is watching....he got 3/4ths across. He got tired and panicked, cuz in the back of his mind he was probably worried about that exact scenario. And even from the convo before, it was clear people didn’t think he could do it cuz of endurance (kept calling him a fat ass) not cuz he couldn’t swim.

RIP to young bull, gotta respect how deadly water can be. They knew there was a good chance he wouldn’t be able to make it across, they should’ve had contingencies in place.

He wasn’t prime Ian Thorpe or some shyt, but he could obviously swim some. Someone that can’t swim doesn’t make it that far. He wasn’t using his legs, though. His arms were tired af, and when enough lactic acid builds up, you aren’t going to be able to move your arms in a manner to tread water no matter how tough you are. He could’ve floated on his back like some said, but people panic in water. People that can swim drown all the time. Just a fukked up situation all around.

There are plenty of people who can swim and don't end up in that situation because they have the sense to walk away and have a group of friends who won't encourage them to throw away their lives.

I had a close friend drown when I was in high school never really coped properly with that.

I know that video shows stupidity to the highest degree but this tragedy will eventually hit them in the heart and they will have to live with this decision the resr of their lives. Alcoholism drug abuse etc will increase heavily with this in their minds. Some of them will turn very suicidal
