Saw this earlier this week. I couldn't possibly imagine what goes through folks heads when they've had enough. No amount of "help" or "talking to a professional" can help some and that shyt makes me sad.

There's a player from a sports team I follow that is dealing with suicidal thoughts and I dread the day that I wake up and hear he took his own life.

Mental health is a serious issue, but man this goodbye post is weird as shyt. Id hate to be the people tagged id feel awful

Dawg I would be broken :mjcry:

You'd definitely grieve. Grieving is a part of the process of any life.

What you're missing is that people always think "what could I have done or said?" "Did I do something wrong?" "Did I cause this?". He's closing that for them.

I can't tell you how those people are going to process it, but if your boy or fam, personally wrote to you and said " thanks for everything" and/or "I love you" you'd feel better than just not knowing, better than them just being gone unexpectedly and unexplainably. It's natural to want to and have wanted to do more but him telling you that you did your part and thanking you helps alleviate the survivors guilt.
