Saw this earlier this week. I couldn't possibly imagine what goes through folks heads when they've had enough. No amount of "help" or "talking to a professional" can help some and that shyt makes me sad.
There's a player from a sports team I follow that is dealing with suicidal thoughts and I dread the day that I wake up and hear he took his own life.
Not necessarily. The earlier one seeks mental health treatment, the better. As soon as you even get the thought, the
logical thought that suicide is an option you gotta see a professional because it will only get worse and more pervasive as time goes on.
I truly believe that suicide is largely circumstantial. It takes the right amount things to line up for a person to logically believe that suicide is a valid and realistic option. There’s stages to that. The ones the most silent about it are the closest to it because in their minds it’s already been normalized. Like high blood pressure - it’s a silent killer and only kills after it’s been with a person a long time.
And in the case of it being physically too much to handle, there’s drugs that suppress and even eliminate those thoughts.
