I edited my previous post but I saw they did see pictures of each other. I struggled to watch past the first 30 seconds. My bad.

I’m not some old curmudgeon. I get that people are going to meet each other initially online in this age. I don’t make friends online, but I’ve met women through tinder.

Other than that, no social media. I’d rather make friends in real life. If you connect with someone through video games, that’s cool too.

This reasoning seems to be in conflict since wouldn’t she want to keep her cover too? I find it interesting he is viewed by a lot in the thread to be incapable of getting any from a relationship formed in real life, but he’s not unattractive.

And the title goes back to technology, this is a different time, there are likely people in your life who have been in real relationships and have also at some point formed some type of online relationship before, they simply haven’t told you because of the negative assumptions attached to it.
