It was always my understanding that a man has as many wives as he can "take care of". If the woman still has to support yourself there really is no benefit for the woman to be in the relationship. Why share a man when you can have one to yourself?

These coli nikkas are stupid because they are the exact men (lower men) who would be adversely affected by polygamy. They are generally lessers males who would be pushed out of the dating game because a smaller number of larger males would scope up these women. It happens in a lot of polygamous societies where a "big man" has many wives while "lesser males" go single or sent to die in war.
