That athletic build is what women are sold as a love interest in 90% of the media targeted towards them. The first pieces of advice you get as a man when you're struggling with women is to switch up your fashion and get to the gym.
Women don't struggle to get men, they struggle to get the man that is the total package, the prince they're told they deserve. Their struggle is different from our own, which is why it can be easy to ignore these women. They aren't talking about you when they talk about 'men' they're speaking about a specific TYPE of man that is more fiction than he is reality. Chasing the fiction causes these women to be frustrated and angry and proclaim that a good man is hard to find. Theyve been disillusioned and rather than accept they are average or below average and there is an equivalent man out there happy to be with them, they'd rather double down on the excuses. In America we've made being normal something awful to avoid at any cost.
