Self defense in defense of others. Good and fair call, the sister was very measured and clearly didn't want to have to kill him.

She saved his life and he's going to have to sit in a cage anyway for possession of the firearm
yeah fighting for 10 minutes and pleading for him to stop shows that it was used as a measure of last resort,

glad she's not going to jail tho cuz it does look like she tried to stop it which is much more than others do before shooting

but her husband needs to be more cautious as well. articles say he cussed out an employee for not having his brand of cigar. if that is true, and he initiated the cussing he gotta learn to avoid drama especially when u have kids & wife with u. his kids could've watched him get killed or his wife sent to prison behind shooting the dude.

as for the firefighter, if he wanted to de-escalate things, that doesn't happen by choking someone out. they weren't even in the store any longer. he should've just walked away. he did not seem to care that kids were watching.

I'm confused.

Dude stood up for a woman being insulted, and the GF of the person doing the insulting shot the person who stood up for the woman?
This is why people, and the 5-0, are usually weary or on edge when trying to help in these situations. You go to help the woman and then both of them end up turning on you

Wait, he stood up for her? The boyfriend went and pulled out the gun. The dude wrestled it away from him. And the woman he protected shot him. Did I get that right?

Yeah I don’t know about that one. I wouldn’t be surprised if they hit him with the murder charge….

Terrible situation. Dude lost his life protecting that bytch.

Word to the wise, mind your business. In the end you could lose your life trying to do the right thing.

She not a ride or die, though...she should've said it was hers so he wouldn't have to serve time for it. unless the law is that you can't even be around a firearm? I dunno these things, I'm no criminal

Exactly,I understood this story all the way wrong:huhldup:.

Black dude was "allegedly" insulting a woman whos race wasnt mentioned. A fight started in the store that he must have been losing. So he goes to grab a gun from his car. And the white dude stops him. Because of what you just said I cant fault him for holding him on the ground. But you can fault him for not communicating when someones holding a gun to his face. At least it appeared to be a gun the woman was holding.
Nah that's not what happened,

The story says they started arguing in the store, breh runs and gets a gun from the store, and then they start fighting over the gun.

"Anthony Santi, 41, was off duty on Oct. 6 and was at a convenience store in Independence when witnesses said Santi heard a man disrespect a female cashier inside the store.
Santi reportedly stood up for the woman.

Police say 23-year-old Ja'von Taylor became agitated and went outside to retrieve a gun from his car. Police say there was a fight between the two men inside the store over the weapon."

What does him being a firefighter have to do with things :what:

Don't go around mauling people and not listen when a person waving a gun tells you to stop.

That's not what happened, the woman he protected was the cashier and she wasn't involved in the altercation. brehs gf was the one who ended up with the gun and shot the firefighter.
