I can only speak for my mother and eldest sister but they never wore weave only variations of braids. They dis do perms though but rarely. my sister was the first person I ever saw go natural back in 95.

Either way seems like alot of people are making this thread something its not, im just trying to understand the science behind shaving bald to do all that
