LOL What if they work over night? They typically sleep through normal breakfast hours but when they wake up will have something to eat which is technically "breakfast" to them. Like he said breaking the fast. All that eat in regular intervals stuff sounds good, but a lot of people's schedules vary way too much for that. It's calories in and calories burned and maybe to some extent what you actually eat. It doesn't matter when you eat it though.
Exactly it's really not that much when you're real active. I remember when I used have more time in the mornings I used to make this:
It's 6egg whites( zero cholesterol)
2 bananas
2 cups of oatmeal
1 glass of soy milk
2 waffles

Also, don't forget about cultures in Africa who drink tea and then only eat once later on.
