I use a loc sock type of deal now but it has been feeling weird since I’ve only been locing for almost two years. My hair only comes down to my shoulders and still not truly fully loc’d yet.

I think ima cop me a silk bonnet to sleep in (why would I cover this beautiful hair in public? Lol) y’all convinced me. I wasn’t sure of what to buy but reading some the replies in here got me confident that’s what I need.

I don’t understand these youngins wearing them outside but we fought tooth and nail to wear our durags out in public (I used to make my parents so mad, I just wanted my waves and to look cool like Hov )

I could see how it’s considered feminine. I wouldn’t do it now, but I used to dress “wild” according to my parents so I also understand them wanting to “rebel” most of these kids only doing it cuz they friends doing it anyway
