I’ll consider it. The way my BSN program is structured I believe my GPA should be way higher when I finish.

Did you supplement any third-party (UWorld or Saunders) applications during your studying?


Thinking of going the Anki route, which is what medical students use, but it was lacking in the nursing department last I checked, so I could incorporate it into studying while working towards creating some useful decks for others.

I second Uworld too! I went through EVERY question and made sure I was making at least 85% on the exams. NCLEX is much easier than people make it seem (don't get cocky or anything), so don't stress too much. If you got through nursing school you can pass the test.

I meant for supplementation during nursing school But it seems you and @Womb Raider are beyond that. I start nursing school next year. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems the effectiveness of UWorld while in nursing school is going to vary from being slightly helpful to not at all due to the curriculum variance per school and is probably not worth purchasing during that period. That's why I think I will just be making Anki decks or maybe using the Saunders application on the side, while saving UWorld for the period going into the NCLEX.

You brehs better not sleep on the nursing profession. There are shortages of nurses across the country and hospitals are contracting nurses just like doctors. There are travel nurses today making well over $10k a month and I'm not kidding.

I do think listening to the Mark Klimeck lectures would be helpful during school. I used them to study for boards and I wished I had found them sooner! Really simplifies a lot of the info you'll learn in an easily digestible way.

Ah, thanks, I have those lectures downloaded, it was one of the most common recommendations I was coming across when looking up supplementary assistance for nursing school.

I didn't have a problem with it, when they talked gossip and all that... I just nodded my head and kept it professional . As for sex amongst workers, I've had coworkers that i believed were attracted to me, I just acted like I didn't notice and kept it professional.
