How many hours were you sleeping usually ?
Also how did u manage social life, so did you go out and stuff ? how did you manage that and working ? oh and your relationship too....
+repped
Saturdays and Sundays were the run-around/kick it days because I only had to work one job. Had the other 16 hours to do whatever, go wherever, study, etc.
Social life only took a hit on things that happened throughout the week, but I always had stuff to do on weekends and had the money to do it right.
I couldn't go to the Bulls/Bears game and sit in the cheap seats on weekday nights with the group, but I went to the ones Saturday night/Sunday afternoon and sat in the good seats with one of my sisters or brother and had a good time all the same.
Most parties and socials went down on weekends also, so I hit those too, no problem.
I slept a straight 3-4 hours after everything wound down, would prop my feet up and take a nap on my CNC lunch break for 30-45 mins, and take a nap on the train for 30 minutes while commuting to work in the office. I'd squeeze in ~5 hours a day total. More on the weekends if I didn't go out. That's what gets people is the sleep. But I've been a a bad sleeper since I was young, so it didnt matter.
Women: I always had girls around, but I made the mistake of having a few gf's in college while I was busy. BAD IDEA. (see my post in "How did you find out your boo cheated)
Other than them I never had women issues in college because they saw i would work hard and go out on weekends and do things other people couldn't do because they didnt have any money, so I always had 1 or 2 around when I wanted some female company.
After college

They started to put two and two together easier because the mindset shifted. "He's always working, he's got two jobs and it's just him and I know he stacking his paper(salary info is public information in a federal job), what else is going on win him?." :ohh:
You've got to have a good reason to do it though.
I did it all for the money, it was all worth it when I got paid. I wanted to have, what Chappelle calls "f_ck you" money. For the people that talked about my car/clothes in high school. The people that would always go the cheap route when going out. I never wanted to have to say "I can't afford it", I remember a certain person saying that when they were talking about something and I told myself "I can't let that happen to me." That's what was strong enough to keep me running for 18 hours a day.
I got paid once a month for each job.I made $54k off the salary position and $19.22/hr off my CNC position. I'll never forget that rate either, because they wouldn't give me the shift differential.
I've gotten promotional grading so my salary gone up a chunk and I spoke on it in another thread, I could break 100k if I went back to CNC'ing, but I'm getting family pressure. People are getting older, etc so I can't do it(at the moment)
Have a good reason and I guarantee you you can pull it off. People are capable of amazing things when they have the determination.
