Brehs did y'all feel that this week's Battle of Winterfell GoT episode was too dark?

there is no source, all i know is i watched it again yesterday and it was brighter (to me) than sunday, 3 other posters then quoted me saying they agreed when they rewatched on hbo go (now) :yeshrug:
This would have been confirmed SOMEWHERE online. Its the same version. You're only seeing a difference now from Sunday because the live stream had shyt quality. Nothing was changed.

my live stream didn't have shytty quality, i don't think i had as hard a time seeing as the people who reported not seeing shyt. and again, i never said they actually did something, i simply said it looked brighter and so did other people. take it how you want to

I just think it was too dark for shytty compressed cable signal or 1080 streaming. 4k HDR would be a totally different story.

Yeah it looked pretty shytty with some DVD style banding. Instantly made me think of the dark-ass Solo movie

Watched live Sunday on FiOS TV and the quality was :trash::trash::trash::trash::trash:

Watched a replay last night on HBOGO and the quality was A1. No complaints with the lighting.

My beef is with my service provider.

When I saw the thread title, I was going to post the EXACT same thing. I watched it on FiOS on Sunday and the quality was noticeably bad. Not bad enough that I couldn't follow the action, but I had to move back further from the TV to make the artifacts harder to see, and also turn out the room lights.

When I rewatched it again on Monday on HBOGO, everything looked fine.
