It's not just Miami Dade. Hispanics have been jumping ship to Republicans across the country and could be the key demographic that leads Republicans to win the US House.

It's a combination of things.

-Democrats are awful at messaging to Hispanics. They are one dimensional and think all they care about is immigration. Some of them Hispanics don't even like the Hispanic immigrants. Hispanics care about economics and crime just like every other demographic.
-Democrats have allowed the progressives to take over with that Latinx shyt. Most Hispanics hate that shyt and it makes Dems look severely out of touch.
-Most Hispanics are culturally conversative similar to black people. They are not down with Carlos transitioning into Carla.
-Hispanics are less inclined to think about race when making a voting decision compared to black voters. Some of them have an anti-black bias anyway and will align with Republicans as a result.

I don’t think this trend is nearly as prevalent as you think. Its mostly mexican and cuban.

This guy I did some work with was like that. Mexican, documented etc.
He makes a good living and his wife works as well. Somehow they were scamming the system to get Medicaid for their kids. Last baby they had the medicaid agency asked him to send his company's tax return. He eventually did and they found out he was lying about his income. They didn't even kick them out, basically just increased their expected contribution (by a negligible amount). Guy starts talking about how the agency only started going after people after all the illegals started draining the budget

Great points there. Definitely feel you on that latinx shyt. shyt is dumb in my opinion. I know there have been threads in here before on the whole agenda thing and I definitely feel that democrats tend to cater more towards the lgbtq community.

They don’t realize that Dade County and South Florida metro(Palm Beach County, Broward County, Miami-Dade County) and Florida as a state has the most diverse Latino population in the Nation. They think of Floridas Cuban population the same way they think of California and Texas Mexican population. And it’s not the same. Florida is an anomaly. Florida has the largest PR puopulation in the US centered in central Florida(Orlando area) Guatemalas, Mexicans and Salvadorans in palm beach county and Southern Dade. And Brazilians, Cubans, Colombians, Argentines, Venezuelans, Spaniards, Dominicans, Peruvians, Nicaraguans, in Dade and Broward counties. Floridas Latino community is racially and politically diverse. But let these smart dumb asses in here say falsehoods.

You seem to forget a lot of these ppl are descendants of the Cubans who saw the negative effects of the Mariel boat lift in 1980. There’s always been communities in Miami and Florida at large who had reservations about allowing the worst of their demographic from entering the country.
