Lmao @ racist. Was stationed out in SD for 5 years. shyt was . OD messicans but its w.e. Food was great. Expensive as fukk but im from NY so its still cheaper than bk/manhattan. Trynna get orders back over there. GOAT weather, beaches are nice, about 1.5 hrs outside LA (no traffic late at night trips), Vegas not too far. A beautiful city. Crazy laid back.

Haven't been back in years. I stayed sort of on the outskirts in National City. I miss home, the beach, the weather, to lack of mosquitos and flying cockroaches... oh and the food. Damn I miss carne asada tacos and fresh seafood.

Sorry breh was off of here yesterday didn't see your post. But to answer, folks who are beach regulars are their at least twice a week. For average folks probably athe least 3-5 times a month. Some people dont go very often or at all but most do. Weather never gets really out of hand so people go year round. Now that spring is here, everybody and they mom is their. Hell finding parking but it's always a good time. Hope that answered your question.

I've been to San Diego twice since I've lived in Thousand Oaks California. Although I'm from the East Coast, Los Angeles is more comfortable to me in contrast to San Diego, Santa Barbara, or San Francisco.

However, I do enjoy taking my girlfriend for long rided up to Santa Barbara or San Francisco along the coastline.

good 'ethnic' food
slower paced L.A.
gaslamp is trash
beautiful women
sparse black pop., but they are in their enclaves
a lot of prototypical beach blonde surfers
can take day trips to messico

Left home 3 years ago and aint looked back.

Still miss fam and the mexican food but thats about it.

The city's changed alot over the last 20 years and not for the better if you're middle class or under. The cost of living is getting out of control.

As far as Black folks go, it is what it is lol. We never had a big population relative to the city to begin with but it was there and everybody knew everybody in some kind of way. Those days are gone tho IMO. If you ask me I think its a wrap for Black communities in California in general, San Diego aint the only spot going through it.
