If it was that easy the industry would have more than a handful of mega stars

She has a voice people people like, she interprets songs in a way people like, she's obviously a good performer, she has a personality that people tend to like (even though it's shifted like 5 times since her start) and on. And I'm pretty sure that Jay-z isn't telling her to become a weed head and go to Barbados and just get high with her girls and fly around the world turning up like a trap rapper. This is the dude that treats his career like an athlete and so does his wife.

And Rihanna is on Roc Nation, she has always stayed loyal to Ty, Jay, Jay Brown and that crew. So I don't know why you are talking about "white execs".
My guess is that she has a saying in what she wants, she has made enough money for cats to have earned her respect to do whatever she wants. If she says that she wants some trap shyt and how it should sound she'll get it. If she wants reggae/dancehall , she'll get it. But people will bring her songs as well, doesn't mean that she's forced to accept.
