My wife doesn't even work and she's never made my lunch. Coworker that used to bring me plates left the company so now I survive off of water and mints from the receptionist
full
May I ask why:dwillhuh:

Damn wasn't this mentioned in one of those Dr. Umar or Tariq Nasheed videos. They said something about women cooking for women's husbands and how if you ain't doing right in the kitchen, somebody might feel that void for your man. This must have some validity.

he cant make his own lunch?
If his wife stays at home, why would he? And if they both work and are up at the same time, I really don't think it would be a problem either. It's just a damn sandwich or leftovers from dinner.

This was extremely petty and unnecessary, not to mention completely false on all four things you said (she covered everything u said in the op :mindblown:) , and just blatantly catty.
Complete all around :scust: @ your meow post lol.

No way in hell I could ever be a female.

I would kill one of yall petty and purposely drama-seeking ass chicks ASAP. Fk around and be locked up the rest of my pretty little life because of yall :wow:

There is absolutely nothing catty, petty, or dramatic about my post... You are actually being a drama queen right now...

Kill? But I am drama seeking?

I am calling into question her motives, which don't seem altruistic at all...

And he's been bringing lunch with him ever since:mjlol:
I guess his wife got the memo:sas1:

But on a serious note, certain things us women do, I'm like:what:
I brought everyone in my department a plate and I didn't even make it my mom did. I've been at this job for 3 months and this man never brought lunch. He was so excited that the food I brought him was enough for lunch and dinner:skip:
It's crazy to me or maybe I was just raised differently. Why would it take something like that for a woman to make lunch for her husband? Your supposed to love and cater to your husband so that should be automatic. Even when my mom was working, she would wake up at 4 in the morning to cook my dad breakfast and lunch (he goes to work at 5:30).
And this isn't the first time I witnessed this. When I worked at my internship, none of the coaches ever had lunch with them. These guys were making 6-7 figures and had stay at home wives but were eating Jimmy Johns for lunch:bryan:
I'm not one to try to dictate what other people do in their marriages so if they are happy and it works for them, so be it. I was just making an observation.:yeshrug:

For you, the day your supervisor received lunch you bought was the most important day of your life.
But for him, it was Tuesday.

You're in your feelings but I'll answer anyway
1)Absolutely not. I've been on the coli long enough that if you follow my posts, you know I'm not that kinda of woman.
2)He doesn't bring lunch b/c he just eats the cafeteria food. DUH! do you not read?
3)His mom died when he was young
3)Never said I was concerned, it was just an observation. If you read my op again, it clearly says I'm not one to try to dictate what other people do in their marriages so if they are happy and it works for them, so be it.

:yeshrug:

In my feelings about what exactly?

Eating cafeteria food doesn't mean the wife doesn't cook for him... He could have told her not to cook lunch because he may work through lunch or wouldn't have enough time for a sit down meal... Like I said, you don't know what goes on in their household...

His mother in law or maid or family chef could have cooked it... You are assigning all of these negative attributes to his wife (she's cooking out of jealousy) when it more than likely could be explained away as him requesting for her to cook again after he told her not to...

The fact that you think the wife is cooking out jealousy is why I know you are concerned...

You don't know what's going on in his house... Unless he has been telling you about the goings on in his marriage

Before my fiancé got a job she would get up before me and make breakfast and lunch for me. My co-workers couldn't believe it. They kept saying things like wait till you get married and I'm like :comeon: if she gonna be a house wife she won't be a wife for long if she can't get up and make a meal or two 4 days a week. Eventually I got my fiancé a job with me and we work together and she gets up at 4, one hour before me, and makes us breakfast and lunch then comes home and makes dinner. I even told her not to do it, we work the same hours and make the same amount of money. Some people just got it in them to be that way others don't. I think it has to do with being a "princess" or "queen" and taking those titles to heart.

all I know is I work from home, and I gotta take two trips out to the west coast in the next month to the office and one of the broads (I never met) hit me on IM talking about "we should go out to lunch". she has seen me on linkedin, but that's it.

what should I think about this????

She is either interested from physical appearance and wants to fukk or just wants a free lunch. lol
