:jbhmm: I do buy all the latest tech. I'm moving to DC in a few weeks for new job and the rent is $2022 a month, so my spending will slow down. But I do have Best Buy Credit (and the new TVs are 0% interest for 24-36 months). I'm trying to decide if I wanna get a prebuilt Origin PC with the new Titans and a 8 or 10-core or get the OLED 4K. I think I watch more TV, so the OLED probably is the best choice, but we'll see.

My Arlington apartment better be worth the $2022 a month I'm paying. I couldn't fly down there to check it out, and signed the lease sight unseen. At least I can walk to work with it. But....$2022 is definitely cutting into my tech spending. I'm used to paying $1200. Yeah, I'm making 20K more in DC, but that also means my student loans go up too (I'm on IBR) :mjcry:

I got $2K set aside for furniture, and 2 months of rent paid already, but shyt will still take a toll. I had no idea the DC area was so expensive. At least I'll save on gas I guess...(and free healthcare too).:yeshrug:
I used to live in Arlington and have family currently living there. 2000 is pretty average but great if your single. Don't expect it to blow you away tho. As further south or other cities can offer you more bang for buck
