They are doing well in this economy!

I've been to the one around my way and I'll hit it up on occassions. Great for side dishes, salads and things like that.

High cost is no more synonymous with quality than low cost.

Neither is absolute. And in teh case of Aldi, I've yet to find something cheap there that wasn't on par with its more expensive alternative elsewhere.

If you have Aldi nearby and you aint dippin' in for those snacks, you just wastin money. Their knockoffs are actually good and cheap as hell. I took my Whole Foods and Central Market only shopping gf in there and she was like, :ohhh: They have the goat healthy snacks and easy to cook quick dinner type food. Only thing I don't like from there is meat or special veggies. H-Mart is the goat for those.

Yeah, they're everywhere here in St. Louis.

I used to hate going there when I was younger but now that I'm older I don't mind. Not for meat or cheese, but they have good fruit and snacks. And a lot of my microwaveable stuff I'll get from there. They have name brand stuff too, not everything is cheap.

Still prefer Schnucks or Dierbergs though.

yo, had no idea that Aldi was in the US too...european brehs know all about that Aldi and Lidl life :cook:

:scusthov:

I hate it when family/friends try to convince me all of the food from there is as good as more expensive products.

Just say you like it because it's cheap and KIM with your crumbly ass cookies that taste like cardboard :why:

The founders of Aldi are some of the richest people in the world.

Its no Aldi's in my city...Targets, Walmarts, Super Giants, Acmes, Superfresh, Safeways....No Aldi's. The only reason I learned about it is there's one store way the fukk out in the sticks.
