I'm "vegan" after being a "pescartarian" for a year so and it's the best decision I've made for myself. I have no cravings for meat. I eat mostly whole foods and fruits and for dinner I prepare lentil stews, plantains, sweet potatoes etc.. and it taste great. The way I'm able to pin point my weight and how it fluenctuals on a daily basis is incredible. There's two great vegan restaurants in DC if anyone's interested. Senbeb and woodland. Had some vegan jerk chicken on a cane stick(replicated the wings) and it fooled me. I have been trying come up with plans for the last several months to possibly opening one in my area.

Woodlands in GOAT! I've been a pescatarian for the past ten years and I don't miss meat either. The government gut nikkas brainwashed into thinking that HAVE to have meat to have a balanced diet. You have to do your research.

I fiind it funny they are talking abut growing t*ts eating soy but will scarf down chicken pumped full of hormone's, antibiotics, etc.

Can someone explain how fish doesn't count as meat? I never understood that.

The general differences aside I don't see the designation.

If you don't any animal products, you a are a vegan. If you don't eat any meat, you are a vegetarian. If you don't any meat, besides fish, then you are a pescetarian. So, yes, fish is a meat. The confusion stems from a lot of pescetarians identifying themselves as vegetarians.

I believe a pesectarian diet is the most balance (but I'm biased) I eat a lot of vegan food though.

I was a vegetarian for years so get the designations. To your point fish is meat, I always fail to see how people argue otherwise.

Yeah meat is basically flesh. So the flesh of an animal is meat. It doesn't matter if it's a land or sea creature. Hell, the flesh of a coconut is called meat.

Been trying to do that vegan thing for a while but the drop in energy whenever I try it for a while makes me wonder if i should not just try the pescetarian thing thing for a minute..I don't eat red meat and pork has not been on my plate since forever but eventually I want to cut chicken out of my diet.I'll keep the seafood in though
