True indeed, I can also attest to this "phenomonon". It is extremely hard for me to find a Black woman in my age group who is single and without kids.

However, I am realistic enough to know that this is actually to be expected.

I am childless and in my 30s; that means that I am the oddity, she is the norm. So I am very accepting of meeting single women my age who may have kids. I even expect them to at this point.

What I am disgusted with though is how it is virtually impossible to find a sister in my age group who is still physically attractive.

And they all use the same bullshyt excuse, kids.

They look like shyt on two stilts, but want to get mad and talk shyt because I tend to find myself with young tight bodied 20-somethings more often than I do with women my own age.

If I was single right now, I'd add charity events to my repertoire. In addition to the things I already did like going to nice bars/restaurants downtown, going to events geared toward black professionals i.e. Black MBA events, Frat/Sorority events, etc. Charity events draw civic-minded sistas who are probably conscious, generous and have some money to spend on people they believe in. I like those kind of women.
