i think if you store them properly you should be good for a couple years really
A couple years is understandable but 10+ years tho? :dwillhuh:

I might fukk around and expand my collection even more if that’s the case :ehh:

All those colognes are $200+ each
The first 3 shelves where he puts the bottles in at retail those are all 4-500 bucks. He hopefully buys grey market, but even then it's only 30-50% off.

the top shelf with Carolina Herrera and Jean Paul Gaultier are all 100-150

As for cologne staying fresh - keep it out of the heat, humidity, and light and it should last for years. I've got a bottle of Tom Ford Noir Extreme since from when it came out. (2015). It's still strong as hell.

Worst places that are usually the most common

Bathroom counter
Window sill
In direct sunlight

The reason you can smell cologne in the first place is because of evaporation. So you're trying to protect your bottles from things the will make it evaporate.

There are a couple of other things that happen chemistry wise, but heat, light, and humidity are the big ones.

Y’all ever had that? :jbhmm:

And what bout my other comment? How long do y’all colognes be staying fresh? :jbhmm:
I wore bad boy cobalt yesterday I love it but it’s not beast most and super long lasting .

It’s a earthy freshie best way to explain it . Starts earthy gets really sweet and fresh . Becomes a close then skin scent but it does last on clothing probably til next day .

Versace - Eros Najim - The middle eastern flanker

Notes are below. The Caramel (which I tend to hate) and the Mandarin are very present.

And oddly enough - the thing I hate about the OG and Flame - that DNA is in this, despite very little of the notes being here. The OG is mint and apple, and Flame is Blood Orange - and I dislike both of those, greatly. But whatever unknown backbone of those 2, is present in this one. (I don't like Versace Eros Energy either.)

So 2mls is the perfect amount. Eros Energy - just a spritz at the counter was more than enough for me. Though it did remind me of PDM's Perseus. (which is a better rendition of that DNA - and Perseus is Tygar for men without taste, but have money. #SORRYNOTSORRY)
