I got like a handful of "interesting" joints, and this is one of them. It primarily smells like the black ink from a Bic Pen...but it also has seaweed/marine notes.

This is autistic artistic perfumery at its finest.

I have one similar to this called L'air Barbes from 19-69.
The opening is sharp with the aldehydes, but then you get hit with ink and concrete with a mineral/aquatic dry down. Really unique to say the least. Still don't really know how to wear it. Just gonna throw it one of these days during the spring/summer.

SOTD - Armani - Stronger with You Parfum

2ml decant. This is redundant if you have the OG, Absolutely, Intensely, Oud, Leather, Freeze - the chestnut dominates and you gotta wear that other version side by side to detect any differences. I have more bottles of SWY than any other line, and I'm skipping this one.

*I'm not even trying to do 2mls of the sandalwood either.

Impression - Soap and woods...but not particularly exciting.

The last time I was excited for a TF release was Cherry Smoke. (2022)
The last time I was impressed by a TF release was Ebene Fume (2021). (Ombre Leather Parfum came out that year as well)

It's been like 4-5 years of ho hum fragrances. Black Lacquer/Vanille Fatale were just okay.

I wish I had retail Amouage money.

I don't tend to like Beast Mode fragrances, but I've never had anything from Amouage that was not beast mode.
Even at full price, they're stuff is a bargain if performance is important to you.

Yea man I have a decant of Royal Tobacco.....I'm good. Its an amazing scent but what I have is enough to last me a lifetime. Everything from that house is crazy strong. I love Enclave but the mint in it is almost overpowering. Reflection Man is a more powerful version of Prada L'Homme that last forever.

It's definitely an ADG on first sniff. Has the same vibes as the OG and Profondo. Citrus and Watery Notes.

At present, I don't get Profumo vibes at all.
Maybe the nutmeg is there, but I wouldn't catch that without looking at the notes.

But the leather/patchouli/vetiver - I can't pull them out individually, but they come together and give the base some bass.

If you dig ADG, check this out.

Is it worth a full bottle? Not for me, especially not at full retail (160). But it's definitely solid.
