We really don't know what y'all want.

A lot of women believe men value the same things they do. for example, a man can more or less "offset" a lot of undesirable qualities if he got his money right. It doesn't exactly work the same for women. A woman that's educated with $$$ is definitely an asset, but if she has kids and a dude doesn't' want kids, or a woman that's not attractive, bad attitude, etc, her income won't change his mind. A woman will deal with a guy that not that handsome (pause), a square, fat, even a damn cheater if he has money and status/power.

Please take this to lipstick alley. I don't really see them being surprised. The only bad things about her is that she doesn't have a degree, and she lives with her mom. Neither one of those is worse than having multiple kids by multiple men
Also $20/hr is actually good money for someone without a degree, especially since she works in customer service (imo $20/hr is not realistic, unless she's a manager)
