Wouldn't a better quantifiable number would be avg w/rispYes they have.

It's not completely analogous to assists, but the idea is the same. The goal is to remove as much "noise", or things out of the player's control, from the process.
I agree gameplay wise I aint even mad at him, just want him to show some moe effortI don't get Lakers fans who are shytting on Russell so much. At least give him the year.

The problem with made up assists is that every player deals with them, even the greatest ball hogs of all time kobe, ai, ex would have these potential assists numbers raised. As a result when you do this for everybody the leagues "true assist numbers" would all rise dramatically and it would still showcase how much of a failure Dangelo rushour is.
I doubt it, since the calculation is based on shooting percentages, and thru 3 games, Russell's just happens to be abnormally low
On Lakers forum talkin about DLo

3 games is a small sample size, but it's nothing to doubt about when it comes to every player in the league would be dealing with the same problem. Russell passing it to people and not making shots is not a phenomenon unique to him. Every player deals with this so if we considered this for every player he would still be on lower end.
