In retrospect, Dwayne was much better off without her underachieving ass.
She was by far the coolest and most popular Huxtable kid, then went to college and turned into a complete airheaded flake.
I remember an episode when Dwayne went back to visit Denise and found out she was married. He was disappointed, but it turned out to be a blessing.
She dropped out of college because she couldn't cut it, got married and a step kid to boot, and living at her parent's house. He dodged a bullet.

They hooked up at the end of the first season. Anyone that's been to 7th grade could see they were attracted to each other.
Lawrence wasn't homeless...
he had a job with best buy and trying to get his computer job off the ground... If anything he was underemployed but working towards his dream... issa was calling him and bum and all of that and yet he was working and still getting paid from his old job... shyt we had a whole riot in that insecure thread about it...

I didn’t watch the show past season 2 and forgot most of the plot lines. I meant he was homeless in that she was paying most of the bills. Lawrence was just an average looking guy with a working class job. Sure, his degree gave him great potential but I’m not sure why he would be considered such a great catch that would make them an unbelievable couple?Lawrence wasn't homeless...

Most of them and it’s not really the point. He’s an average looking dude with a working class job. He has a degree from a prestigious school but over the course of their relationship, he didn’t use it to reach his full potential.
