I didn't even know what you're talking about.
It took me a while to look through my history and even figure out that you're still butthurt over me saying that DRose didn't deserve the MVP in 2011 because his defense wasn't good enough.
.
And you still don't get it.....
LeBron stans are as oblivious to what's really happening, just like they claim Kobe stans are.
I had forgotten that that argument even had to do with Lebron, after those other gigantic fits you threw because I claimed that CP3 D'd up Lilliard well in the first game and the Warriors have consistently caught some big breaks with opponents' injuries the last couple years.
i) This is the problem with you - whenever anybody challenges your opinion with equal or more force and truths you get all defensive - it was far from a "gigantic fit". It was a well thought out, detailed account of CP's
defense on Lillard during the game(s).
ii) It actually wasn't the first game where you made that comment, it was the second game (there is a difference given the context of the series and how Lillard was shooting up to the point). Which I then proved wrong by going through and listing all of Lillard's shot attempts, showing just how piss poor CP's defense on him really was. It seems like all you did was look at the box score and saw Lillard went 6-22 and thought you could put two and two together. Failing to see just how bad CP was on the defensive end.
iii) Now there's a difference between what you said there about the Warriors catching breaks and what you were arguing FOR in the other thread. But at this point, that's neither here nor there.
And where in that message did I say that points-rebounds-assists are a bad thing? You and your shytty reading comprehension strike again.
Crappy posters concede that points-rebounds-assists are important (that's why there's that "okay" to start that one), but without the context of shooting % or varying usage situations, without factoring in defense at all, and only after massively prioritizing points and highlights first.
That doesn't mean that points-rebounds-assists are unimportant, but that they are inadequate for the full picture..
And here's the thing, YOU have a tendency to not disclose the full picture (or what's relevant) when referencing ppg, rpg and apg - which is why I said you shytted on yourself with that point. Like you seem to do with other stats as well - except those standard box score #s are an easier vessel for you to carry your agendas. I'm completely well aware of how you structured that "ranking system" and what so-called "crappy posters" prioritize when valuing players.
Damn, every time I talk to you I feel like I have to explain every little piece like you're a 3rd grader. After 20 posts/day for five years, I would have thought you'd have figured out how to read the internet. Now your M.O. is that you'll either yell "You're lying!" or you'll misread it again and make a new wild assertion.
Again, this is from you getting the details wrong or your lack of self-reflection. I'm amazed at just how stubborn you really are.
That's a reasonable opinion. As long as you're just talking about offense. Though for a net offensive benefit, I put all three of those guys clearly above Westbrook, not just "similar". No one is dreaming of trading any of those three straight up for him, even with the advantage of age.
Absolutely not.
Nobody generated more raw points this season than Westbrook did. None of them with the exception of Curry created more chaos on offense. All the while orchestrating the second best offense in the league.
