mine was genetics. my dad, his brothers, their dad...all bald ass neegas :sadcam:

they say you get it from your grandfather on your mother's side, but if that was the case i'd have a mini fro with like 3 greys in it. my granddad is like 75 and aint lost a single patch yet

I'm lucky. Never will go bald by the looks of it. I'm going grey though. I'm 29 and I'm pretty grey on the sides by now. My younger bro is 25 and is already balding. I guess I dodged that bullet so far :whew:

I don't use shampoo...To cleanse my scalp, I use apple cider vinegar occasionally or Aztec Indian Clay

This. Shampoo is so drying to my hair. I only use it when I need my hair squeaky clean or I have too much product buildup. Other than than that it's ACV rinse, clay wash, or co-washing.

I use both bentonite and rhassoul clay. Both are excellent replacements for commercial shampoos[DOUBLEPOST=1397518844][/DOUBLEPOST]
Dove, but my hair is only black in color, not ethnicity.

Then you lost

your stars are but dust on my shoes
I used to use head & shoulders but I couldn't go a day without having to wash my hair, which I figured wasnt normal or healthy.

I looked for better shampoos, but the results were more or less the same. Finally decided on trying shampoo bars from Chagrin Valley, and haven't looked back. All natural ingredients, and my hair has finally felt balanced. No more oily scalp with dry hair every day, the shampoo bars have really changed my hair.

Disclaimer: I'm mexican

I feel the same way breh. I've been growing my hair out for a year and wanna keep it going but it feels odd seeing people with baldness and fukked up hairlines that only Black Ice can "correct." Thankfully there no baldness in my family so I think I'm aight but among the people I work with I see a strong correlation between baldness and :flabbynsick:ness. It's almost like cats give up on life and their hair starts. Theres a brotha (in his mid 40s) I work with who shaves his head bald at times but will then let the shyt grow and you can clearly see where his baldness is at. On top of that he lets his beard grow into extreme nappyness and its just a fukked up visual for me.

Thankfully, no balding, no treys and my hairline if in tact.
