As for Ernie,you see what the mentality is of your average white American. "Oh I have black friends and yeah this country has its problem but hey, just get over yourself we're all Americans and this symbolic flag and anthem is more important than actual life". Just because dudes like him interact with you or like you for your talents doesn't mean he really gives 2 thoughts about what actually happens to you. For Kenny to be the only one disturbed on that set is shameful.
He got all the fukking nerve in the world to be talking about "Do that in other countries and see what happens to you" as if he's almost espousing the virtues of despotism, in this one particular case. Of course, this case is when a black man has the gall to stand up for injustice against people of color in this country.

My question to people like him who try to guise their fake outrage over Kaep for pseudo patriotism is, what are you doing for veterans? People love to hop on fake talking points just to avoid discussing real issues of discrimination. Whether it's "well weez keeps killing each other's", "we needs ta clean ups our community" c00n talk or the fake patriotism angle is all to not address the issue at hand. Yeah crime needs to be addressed but what does that have to do with the issue, and how is the protest to bring attention to the problem being more scrutinized than the lives being lost at seemingly normal traffic stops.

wont call the man a c00n, but that was painful and sad to watch....you can tell he's a beaten down shell of his former self, and has given up fighting the fight....damn shame....
also, you can tell kenny was uncomfortable, cause he was ready to snap on all of them....especially ernie, cause you know after all these years, he thought ernie was 'different'...it's gonna be interesting to see how the show goes on from this point...wouldnt surprise me if there are a lot of 'awkward' moments from now on, which leads to a change...i feel there is gonna be a bunch of times when shaq, ernie, and/or charles gonna try to tell a joke to lighten the mood, and kenny gonna straight face that shyt/not play along anymore....
