Brehs, where did the names Pookie & Ray-Ray originate from?

I got cousins that go by Pookie, Nookie, and Bug(female with big eyes). I knew a hood nikka in high school that used to go by Noochie. Ray Ray used to be the most popular DJ in the city. God bless the dead, he passed like 10 years ago.

That's why it baffles me if a black person is asking where those names came from. If you have a predominately black family, especially in the hood, you have heard these names.

why are these two names in particular the Flavor Of The Month...OP is correct, folk have been saying "Pookie and Ray-Ray"
just like that - in the same phrasing - to mean "niccas who ain't chit". It's been happening too much for it to be an accident,
