I sincerely believe Andre Johnson is on the same level as TO. He just never had the benefit of great QB play like other HOF'ers.
2003 was Andre's 1st year in the league, and I remember there being some talk about how good he was gonna be.

But 1st game of that season, I remember watching Anquan Boldin torch the Lions for 10 receptions, 217 yards.
And I was like...this Anquan dude is a fukkin monster. Gonna be way better than Andre.

Well, not really. Even though Anquan had a hell of a career himself.

1421 yards that season despite missing the first two games because of a suspension.
:banderas:
Bro was the only wide out threat too on a running offense ...

In 05 came back from injury with 103 catches for like 1500 yards and 12 Tds.

Smith always been quite dominate cause of the market but nikkas that lined up vs him know he was real :wow:

nikka said Santana moss :laff:

The Yay
I dunno breh.
I thought Santana Moss was a really good WR.
He had Chad Pennington, Mark Brunnell (a 35 year old Mark Brunnell), Jason Campbell, a washed up Donovan McNabb, Rex Grossman....Rex Grossman breh....REX....GROSSMAN as his QB. And then a rookie Robert Griffin.

Cut Santana some slack.

:yeshrug:
while the qb the WR plays with is important, lets not make it the chief way to judge a WR. if two WRs are comparable, sure we can talk about the QB...steve smith and santana moss arent comparable. santana moss can run 1.5 routes.

Facts g u act like it ain't close especially smith vs owens compare they best days.

He could do everything Owens could at 5'9 plus take a 1 yard catch to the house. Not to mention he was always doubled and tripled ...they never had a #2 wideout
Who was Owens sharing the WR duties with?
JJ Stokes?
Todd Pinkston?

You taking the homer thing too far, on no planet is Steve Smith better than TO. Owens could probably come out of retirement right now and put up smith numbers

Foh smith was one of the best players of his generation...u sleeping or ain't watch him.
From 2005 through 2008, Smitty was the most dominant receiver in the league. In 48 games with Jake bro averaged 101 yards from scrimmage to go with 38 tds..

I remember watching him him
shyt on Chicago the then number 1 D for 242 yards and the win.

I feel he would be a lot higher on all time list if he ain't miss the whole 04..plus them David Carr/clausen years.
